(Figures taken from Club Health Assessment, February 2025)
Three Zone meetings have been held so far this year, hosted by different Clubs, with the 4th meeting scheduled for 22nd May. All 7 Clubs have generally been represented, with an average attendance of around 20 members. Meetings have included presentations about sight screening cameras and Health and Safety. These meetings have helped general communications between Clubs and facilitated the sharing of ideas and information. A Zone social event – a skittles evening – was recently held with attendees from 4 Clubs.
All clubs have been active in fundraising, service and social activities as their membership numbers allow. Clubs have also collaborated well, supporting one another's events where a greater number of helpers has been required.
I have been able to attend a variety of Club events including Maidenhead's Charter Cream Tea, Windsor's Awards evening, and Woodley and Earley's Charter Dinner and Santa Sleigh, quiz evening and skittles evening. Further visits to Club meetings are scheduled to take place over the next 3 months.

Cabinet Report from Zone I
This is my first time being a Zone Chair, and I feel very privileged to have been given the opportunity to for fill this role.
As chair it has been a very challenging year, early September I was diagnosed with cancer preventing me from be as active as I would have liked, and it with regret that I will not be able to attend Convention.
Clubs
Jersey has been able to maintain a good number of members even though they have lost a couple to higher service, the club is still very active in the community with providing support to "those in need" very much as all the other clubs
Guernsey has been very active with its fund-raising events, and I would say they have had a very successful year considering the present economic climate, they have been able to increase their membership.
Jersey and Guernsey had several joint meetings to share ideas and to assist each other over the past 12months.
Sandown and Shanklin club has had an interesting year, with a change of treasurer part way through the year. They continue to operate a car boot sale most Saturdays throughout the year as well as several other activities.
Newport is continuing to support the community and maintain the current membership numbers
Ryde club as decide that they do not wish to continue as a club and at the end of the Lions year there will no longer be a club, but it is hoped that some of the members will transfer to one of the other clubs.
